The biggest news of the holiday has to be that my baby brother is engaged!!!! He proposed during the ten second countdown at midnight new year's eve. This photo was taken right as he got down on his knee. We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE his fiancee Lindsay. She is from Fayetteville, AR and they were set up by mutual friends. I actually threatened Alex at Thanksgiving that if he did not propose to Lindsay while the gettin' is good, I would do it for him! Lindsay and Alex make a great couple and we could not be more thrilled. Alex, as Dad said to me when I got engaged to Brad: "we could not be more pleased with your selection of a mate." Look for a wedding around September 2009.
